Railfan Pictures of the Day - 08/29/2007
SEPTA Main Line Lansdale PA Aug 16 2007 |
After working from Glenside to Gwynedd the past few months, the tie and surfacing gang has moved up to Lansdale to do the section frm Gwynedd to Dale. Parked on the front track just north of the station most of the time, they spring into action every day just after the 9:23 southbound R5 passes. Here the army of orange worker ants crawls out of the station to head for the out of service area which is Track 1 for now. |
The equipment includes ballast regulators, tampers, spikers, tie handlers and other pieces. |
