SEPTA Lansdale/Doylestown Lansdale and Link Belt PA May 26 2006 |
Train 562 has the same quartet of Silverliner II's as seen on the earlier Train 540, here having just departed Pennbrook Station and passing Hancock Street near Line Street. |
Train 562 is approaching Dale Interlocking with the station (and CSX power) in the distance. |
Train 566 approaches Link Belt with the three Silverliner II's and a Silverliner III of Train 527. To give you an idea of how close the stations are, the relatively new high level concrete platforms of Colmar Station can be seen in the distance. |
Train 566 passes the MOW equipment parked on the Link Siding. The ballast train had stopped dropping the new ballast just north of the station. |
After Train 566 passed at Forest Siding, Train 567 headed in town with the four Silverliner II's, here at the Walnut Street grade crossing with one of the two remaining freight customers on the Doylestown Line, Lansdale Warehouse, in the background. |
The tie train had recently dropped ties all the way to Lansdale Station, work that should take a few more months to complete. |
