CP's local switcher in South Philly is currently GP38-2 (or DRS-20C if you prefer the Canadian Pacific classification) 7309, pictured here just south of Oregon Avenue. |
Since July 2003 , this decal has been added. Anyone know what this means???? |
What remains of Philadelphia Veterans Stadium, taken from the new home of the Phillies, Citizen's Bank Park. Why is this picture here????? Something to the right caught my eye ....... |
What appeared to be a double stack train where there were no tracks. It seems the demolition company used cargo containers as a buffer to shield the houses to the north. |
On the way home, stopped by Elmwood Avenue just in time to see the Wilmington Chapter's Nighttime PCC excursion heading out of the barn with PCC 2785. |
Due to brush clearing along the right of way north of Gwynedd Valley, SEPTA was alternating bus service with trains on the Doylestown segment of the R5 line most weekends for the last two months. Here the rail shuttle is departing Lansdale Station heading toward Doylestown. |
First stop was Fortuna Station, the only station I know of named after a dead cow. |
