Railfan Pictures of the Day - 01/29/2004
CSX Trenton Line Woodbourne Station Langhorne PA |
Thanks to a heads up from DDavies down on the RF&P, quite a few railfans were trackside this afternoon waiting for the arrival of Q172 with a new SD70AC leading a couple of BNSF units and a late running K650 Tropicana Orange Juice train. |
Q346 tied up the main while it picked up cars at Woodbourne Yard before heading north. |
Earlier SEPTA had told K277 at CP Trent that it would have to wait for four northbounds before they could proceed south. Number two was the long awaited Q172 with CSX 4703 leading. |
This one came out a little fuzzy, but you can see what all the fuss was about. |
Next was K650. Woodbourne is not the best place for late afternoon shots for northbounds. |
Behind K650 was Q418, who had no work for Woodbourne and went right along. Liked the little puff of exhaust as they started to pick up speed. |
