Railfan Pictures of the Day - 07/21/2003

Just about every type of engine Amtrak has on the east coast in one shot: AMD 103's, AEM-7, GP40-TC, HHP-8, GP38-2, GP10, E60MA, plus a couple NJT ALP-46's.

Faces only a mother (or railfan) could love.
Another shot of the Race Street pit.
A close up of NJT ALP-46 4618.
A string of ExpressTrak reefers sits in the yard, wondering where they will wind up.
Roadrailers, however, still have a job.
The northwest quarter of the parking deck north of 30th Street Station has been removed for the new parking garage, which also eats up most of the Race St. Yard employee parking area.
