In 2016 a record ridership increased 15% to 214,063 passengers!

Shown here at Streamliners at Spencer four day event May 29 - June 1, 2014 at North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, North Carolina where the former Southern Railroad 37-stall roundhouse hosted this gathering displaying more than two dozen covered wagons. 6789 was a star of the event being the only working Alco unit.
