The Berky & South Line Railroad is a
freelance (and completely fictitious) HO Scale Model Railroad
loosely based on prototypical operations of the CSX during the
transition period of it's "fallen flags" in the late
1980's and early 1990's. The layout depicts the area of the
fictitious industrial city of Keithston, Georgia. Keithston's
major industries include a steel manufacturing plant and scrap
yard, a petroleum storage facility, a wood crate & pallet
company, a food processing plant, a plastic manufacturer and the
CSX's Debbysville Intermodal Terminal. Currently the B&S
Line is in the planning stages. Benchwork construction is
planned to start in the Summer/Fall 2002.
