GHB INTERNATIONAL N SCALE TROLLEY SHELLS

George Barsky's GHB International of Gaithersburg, Maryland has over the years produced and imported an eclectic variety of railway models in a range of scales, from N to 1/2-inch. Starting in 2010 he worked with Mike Bartel of Imperial Hobby Productions to offer two resin-cast streetcar body shells with snap-in end floor plates, sized to fit the Bachmann Brill trolley power chassis. GHB sold these as just shells, or with a Brill power chassis and Miniatures by Eric working trolley poles. Some were even sold pre-painted (but unlettered) in generic paint schemes. This joint effort has since transitioned to 3D printed shells (including these two) sold through Shapeways, with several PCC and generic interurban trolley freight body styles added. - R. D. Kerr
