Click for a full view A more detailed photo of 527. At one point this locomotive had a burnt out traction motor and a couple of other problems. The H&MC was looking to trade it in on a better locomotive, but I don't know if it has happened.
This caboose was temporarily stored in the H&MC yard in Huntsville. It was bought by a family and moved to their lot for use as a sowing room. As you can see from the markings, it is ex-KCS (Kansas City Southern).
