The Brickyard
The brickyard at Ione was once a major shipper along the Amador Central. Here are some shots of the remains and
the brick carts once used within the plant. Locomotive #334 was assigned as plant switcher here for a time.

Ione

Google satellite view of Ione yard and wye. This was the interchange between the Amador Central and the Southern Pacific, later Union Pacific.
