Ron Hohl kindly contributed this series of photos of wrecked and fire damaged SRS 117. The car had struck an
automobile at a level crossing on April 12, 1956 at Princeton, West Virginia on the Norfolk & Western Railway.
The photos are believed to have been taken by his father who was a Sperry Rail Service employee at the time.

This series of images had previously been thought to be of SRS 123. With the extent of the damage to the car,
it is highly unlikely that the car involved is SRS 123 as it still exists. With further investigation by Jim Slauta,
and the recollections of older Sperry employees, it has been concluded that the car shown is actually SRS 117.
