The CRC published an illustrated quarterly magazine, the “Continental Railway Journal” for over 50 years until it merged with Locomotives International in 2013. It was edited by Lance King, with help from a number of sub-editors, and regularly reported on at least 30 countries. As well as being the longest running magazine of its type (it was published without a break from 1962 until 2013) the back issues provide a valuable reference source for foreign railway developments over the last 50 years.
From 1962 until 1969 it was published in duplicated form with little illustration. Very few copies of the duplicated original series in reasonable condition are available. However, copies of each of the 14 issues have been scanned and are gradually being made available for download. Use the following links to access them -
