The Rail Travel Writing and Photography Workshop attendees just inside the door of the Gallery, in the gift shop.
Artists represented in the Gallery have their works for sale here as
well as tee-shirts, wooden train whistles, train videos, magnets,
signs, and other railroad items.
Just inside the gallery is a restored Railway Express Agency cart with representative art from two artists.
Amy Cox leads visitors on a tour of the Gallery and Memorial Library.
Beautiful railroad themed stained glass has been added since my last visit.
Bob Cox and Brian Coleman talk in the background.
One piece shows the original La Plata Depot.
To show the wide range of different types of rail-related art in
the Gallery, I include this photo of Jackie Hadnot and his gigantic
wood carvings from the Opening. These two pieces plus others from
Jackie are still in the Gallery. If you are from California, you
may have seen a recent piece about Jackie on PBS TV by Huell Houser.
Conveniently located next door is Show-n-Off Photography and DJ Service owned by Bob and Amy Cox.
