I boarded at Fullerton, CA, second from bottom on the schedule above, and move through these station in order:  Riverside, San Bernardino, Victorville, Barstow, and Needles, CA, Kingman, Williams, Flagstaff (where Don joined me) and Winslow, AZ, Gallup, Albuquerque, Lamy, Las Vegas, and disembarked in Raton, NM.

I began in Denver and went west (down the schedule) through Fraser-Winter Park, Granby, Glenwood Springs, (where I spent one night) Grand Junction, CO, and Green River, Helper, Provo, and Salt Lake City, UT, Elko, Winnemucca, Sparks, and Reno, NV, Truckee, Colfax, Roseville, and Sacramento, CA.  I stayed one night in Sacramento, then boarded the Coast Starlight for home.

My Coast Starlight adventure began in Sacramento, (about midway down the schedule above) and I passed through the stations of  Davis, Martinez, Emeryville, Oakland, San Jose, Salinas, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Van Nuys, CA, before arriving in Los Angles Union Station.

In LAUS, we transferred from the Coast Starlight to Surfliner  #596 for the final hour of our journey to Fullerton, CA, making a complete round trip!
