Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA. On my last web page, I showed details about the new hoppers that passed through town.
Here are other things along the main.. |
A CN 100 and a blue unit on a rainy day |
And another races out from under Hoover Avenue, on the left track (Orchard siding), and the lead unit is already hidden |
Here's the train of new hoppers that was shown on my previous web page and a Q stack train is pulling past |
Actually, they pull east 30 cars, split their train, and then back west into the yard. Clearing the mainline, I guess. Later, I see the Waupaca depot webcam shows the main is tied up with MOW, so I quess this is their parking space for the afternoon. |
The train of new hoppers had a crew change and then left. In ten minutes, the signal goes from blinking red to green and along comes this BNSF |
.
And I know Alan already made decals for a fleet of Marquis alcohol tank cars,
but I thought if I ever saw one up close and convenient, I would get a better picture of their trademark.
So 4 cars came along (which means this train is A491 heading to Wisconsin Rapids)
and I zoomed in (too much) and mostly missed every symbol. Oh well, there's always a next time.
And while A491 rolls west, there goes an Amherst patrol on Orchard Siding. |
.
And away they go east at noon on a Thursday.
