Stevens Point rail yard

Stevens Point, Wisconsin; February, 2020

The CN 1556 and CN / WC1565 are by the yard office.
Is that a red air compressor car or one those new laser track measuring cars? Looks as good as a new model 'out of the box'. I like a weathered car on my model railroad (but I don't have many), but that one really looks good.

I see two more red cars. I am guessing they are air compressor cars for the end of the trains in cold weather.

Blue BC Rail

Plover River. The cars are crossing over to the north track.
And I didn't know this before, there is another left-hand crossover on the other side of the bridge.

The green fence is the Green Circle Trail, curving under the tracks.

This is a stitch of two pictures, and with an 8-second time shift, there are 3-1/2 locomotives instead of 3.

going east

Under the signals, and using the right-hand crossover and heading toward the Hoover Avenue overpass.

This is a panoramic stitch of 9 pictures, from the west to the east. The tracks are actually straight.
