April 2, 2019. A sunny Spring afternoon at 25th Avenue on the west side of Wisconsin Rapids.
A sand train is heading west at 3 pm, and picking up NEW power. |
And by the time I return to the scene in 15 minutes, there's 5 tied in to the train. Scroll right to see them in this panoramic view. Which leaves me a big mystery, there's 5 new locomotives not in sight, where did they go? Local railfan Bob h. might now, he also saw this scene take shape. The new engine numbers are 3180, 3184, 3187, 3192, 3183. |
There's a heritage symbol; I will have to read up about that. |
.
Earlier in the week, there was a string of 5 new engines up at the wye, with one number being 3175. I don't know if they were part of the batch of 10 that I saw today. |
That's a white deer, not a goat. The area has some white deer that got away from a game farm, they are white, but not a natural albino with pink eyes. |
