Point trains and the Arctic Run train show

February 2019, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The weekend of the Arctic Run model railroad show missed the cold weather by a few days, but the warm temperatures created a mess of thawing snow and fog.

There were extra railfans around town, and the CN didn't disappoint; there was a large variety of power.
The WC 1560 is still around in WC paint.

There were some long-distance travelers to the model railroad show

And I didn't check what area this club came from.
I looked them up on the Internet later, and see they are around Minocqua.

I saw Keith from a distance but didn't have time to visit the Marshfield club;
I spent most of my time with John B. of the Lake Shore and Eastern Logging Railroad book fame.
He has many scans of old pictures of the Price County Historical Society,
and those fill in my story of the Flambeau Paper Company Railroad as it was a century ago.
