And I blurred the last picture. I had put down the camera and turned it off thinking that's all there was. I didn't expect a 'new' scene to open up with another locomotive sitting by the yard office after the DPU cleared away beyond Dura Beauty Lane |
And here is some new / old news about the Weston Power plant.
The 'Power Magazine' had a story this year, but I see the picture is from 2016.
At least its good news that coal is still ok and will continue to be burned in central Wisconsin.
Pleasant Prairie by Kenosha shut down. I had some pictures of that during operation 4 years ago.
Sometimes the coal cars through Rapids are the Wisconsin Public Service cars marked for Pleasant Prairie.
