Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. 2017 Plenty of BNSF locomotives have been passing through Wisocnsin Rapids. Sand is loaded near Taylor and Blair, and then comes east to Rapids and then goes north, and I think they usually go east from Junction City and eventually Chicago and then I guess south to some oil states. |
An eastbound train waits by 25th Avenue in the morning, not a very common time for an east job. |
That evening, a different BN train pulls past the yard . . . |
and backs around the wye . . . |
and out toward the stub of track at the quarry, where i presume this train will park for the night to keep out of the way of the mainlines. |
The Holland fuel line by Dura Beauty Lane |
And on a different morning, a silver BNSF is in line for service and fuel. |
