Rapids Rails over the Wisconsin River

This picture isn't the Wisconsin River,

but Spring is coming even though we have lots of mornings below zero.

There's more hours of daylight.

It's easy to watch trains crossing the River in Wisconsin Rapids, with such large open vistas.

Strings of clay tankers are taken from the old GBW east yard to the big paper mill.

The Biron turn heads east, and to the right is the blue GMTX 200 paper mill switcher

.

My pictures can be affected the local 'weather system'. On cold mornings, the steam and frost from the pulp and paper mill makes humongous clouds that block my sun.
