The Wisconsin Northern Railroad (WN) is owned and operated by Progressive Rail. They operate on about 60 miles of track leased from Union Pacific between Chippewa Falls and Rice Lake in northwest Wisconsin. Major tonnage is agriculture and forest products, along with steel and scrap metal. They own two locomotives.
