Trains - San Luis Central

The San Luis Central (SLC) operates 13 miles of trackage from Monte Vista, CO, to Central, CO. They haul potatoes, grain, and fertilizer for online businesses.  They own 2 locomotives and about 800 freight cars. SLC was featured in the February 2007 TRAINS issue.

SLC was purchased by Colorado Pacific Rio Grande Railroad (CXRG) in October 2024.
