The DM&E acquired the
former Chicago Northwestern line from Rapid City, SD, to Winona, MN, in 1986.
DME runs about 3 trains a day over that route, with their main cargo being
grain. CP Rail's purchase of DME was finalized on Oct 30, 2008.
