Dakota and Iowa Railroad (DAIR) is a shortline road and Rail Transportation Service unit of L. G. Everist., Inc., a supplier of high quality aggregates. The D&I runs from Sioux City, IA, to Sioux Fall, SD, on former Milwaukee Road trackage. Transportation of aggregates is the main focus of the D&I, augmented with seasonal shipments of grain.
