The Columbia & Cowlitz Railway (CLC) began in 1925 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser Company. They own 8 1/2 miles of track from the Weyerhaeuser Company mill in Longview, WA, to the BNSF/UP junction near Kelso, WA. The name is drived from Longview's location on the Columbia River in Cowlitz County, WA. Weyerhauser sold the CLC to short-line operator Patriot Rail Corp in 2011. |
