Black
Hills Central Railroad
Black Hills RR operates 4 steam locomotives
and a variety of other equipment on 10 miles of track between
Hill Cityand Keystone, SD. The line was built in 1900 by CB&Q
to serve the mining and timber industry. It also played a part in the
carving of nearby Mt Rushmore. The tourist opeation started in the
1950's.
