Trains - Verde Canyon Railroad

The Verde Canyon Railroad (AZCR) operates excursion trains on 20 miles of trackage from Clarkdale, AZ, to (ghost town) Perkinsville, AZ. The 38-mile line was built in 1911 to haul passengers and copper from the smelter at Clarkdale to the ATSF interchange at Drake, AZ. The current excursion operation started in 1990.
