Here are some tid-bids from the journey:

Part ONE of the journey: Panvel to Thrisur by 2618 H.Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep Express. The loco in charge was WDM2 #17583 of Ernakulam. Our coach was WGACCN 01902. The journey was quite normal except for a 2 hour delay at both points! The catering by the pantry car was good, and get a 8/10.

Part TWO of the Journey: Thrisur to Sabarimala and Back. That was by a Qualis. Not much to say about this!

Part THREE of the journey: Railfanning with Jimmy Jose and Antony Damacious (from Bangalore) at Ernakulam....About 3 hours long. Details coming up soon!

Part FOUR of the journey: Returning from Thrisur by 6346 Trivandrum - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Netravati Express. The loco was WDM3A #14125 of Erode. The pantry, as usual, was interesting and gets 7.5 on 10. The cleanliness of the train was awful!

In addition to the train journeys, I had a few journeys on KSRTC Ordinary buses, and a few highway rides on a car!
