As the curtains close to mark the end of a marvellous 16-Day outing to Bangalore, it is a pleasure to present before you some tidbits from the journey and the Travelogues!

We (My parents & Myself) left Mumbai on 12-May-2006 by the 1013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Coimbatore Express. The journey was comfortable and refreshed my memories earlier journeys on this particular train!

Though according to the actual plan, we were to leave to Kerala after about 2-3 days of arrival at Bangalore, Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel the trip to Kerala and instead we spend our days in Bangalore itself. We made a visit to Mysore (the rail musuem was visited!). We had innumerable trips within Bangalore city making visits to popular malls like Garuda and Forum!

On 14-May-2006, I had an outing with IRFCAns Naveen Jain and Shailesh Jasani for some Railfanning

The actual program for the return was by 6530 Udyan Express departing on 29 May 2006. But, I recieved a call from my college asking me to report to the college office before 1500 hrs of 29 May 2006! I had to reach Mumbai even before my train departs! I returned on a KSRTC Volvo on 28-May-2006. The trip reports and/or railfanning reports can be reached by the links on the left!
