MUNI/BART

  San Francisco, CA is served by two rapid transit operators: San Francisco Municipal Transit and Bay Area Rapid Transit. MUNI runs streetcars both above and below ground, and also operates buses. BART service is essentially commuter rail, connecting the San Francisco peninsula with several surrounding cities on the mainland.
