Fullerton, California & Along The Pacific Ocean

The photos shown here were taken when I arrived in Fullerton on the Southwest Chief and when I rode the Pacific Surfliner Train to San Diego, on February 23rd, 2002.

I took this photo immediately after getting off the Southwest Chief in Fullerton,
my Final Destination, for this trip anyway.

It's 68 degrees outside on a beautiful Saturday Morning in Fullerton. Being from New York
that IS a virtual heat wave, considering its February 23rd!!!

At 8:10am, this BNSF Freight with C44-9W arrived with 3 more units in Fullerton and
stopped there for about 10 minutes. I remember seeing these units come to Buffalo
before being sent west to operate on their home turf!!!

Another view of the San Onofre Power Plant. I believe, although I'm not 100% certain
this power plant was seen in the movie "The Naked Gun 2 1/2".
