Ride The CP&LE Through Boneville!!!

The great thing about the CP&LE is that your ride does not have to end in Frontiertown! Yes, you can remain on the train or use the train to get back to the Main Midway, boarding from Frontiertown as well! Once you depart Frontiertown however, you'll be transported through the quiet, "dead" town of Boneville!!! Yes, the entire population of this metropolis consists of those enjoying the "afterlife"! All of this is clearly designed to make you laugh and after riding this train all these years, it still makes me laugh! So hop onboard the CP&LE and take a nice trip through Boneville on your way back to the Main Midway, All Aboard...

Just after departing Frontier Town Station, we go through this crossing that connects Frontiertown with the Mean Streak coaster.

Now Entering BONEVILLE!!! For some reason, the population keeps "dropping"!!!!

Ring the bell, Boneville School is now in session!!! I don't know about you, but even if I was dead, I wouldn't want to do homework!!!

Now that we're in Boneville, let's check out the "Business District"!!! Here we have the U.R. Dade Funeral Parlor. For several years during
the park's "HalloWeekends" event in the fall, the U.R. Dade School Of Mortuary Science, better known as "Undertaker U." was opened
as one of the haunted houses in the park! They had special "internships" where you could "urn while you learn"!!!

The Undertaker from the U.R. Dade Funeral Parlor is on call.

Next up, we have the Boneville City Marshall's Office next to Dirty Bill's Saloon & Cafe.

Have a package to ship? Stop by the Overland Freight & Ticket Office.

Need horse shoes? Stop by Anville & Steele Blacksmithing, but if you're looking for water
in that well next to the shop, you're outta luck, as it's "Bone Dry"!!!

The Boneville Freight & Passenger Depot. I don't know how long those 2 passengers sitting on the bench have been waiting but last
time I checked, a passenger train hasn't stopped in Boneville in at least 50 years!!!

There are three roller coasters visible in this photo! To the far left is a coaster for CP's younger thrill seekers in "Woodstock's Express"
which is located in Camp Snoopy. The unmistakable tower portion of Top Thrill Dragster is seen in the middle, and this incredible
coaster is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as well. In the far right, you can see track from Millennium Force!

Going over a bridge and passing the "Cedar Creek Mine Ride", a runaway mine train coaster that's been driving riders crazy since 1969!

Here we have the boyfriend trying to sneak out of his girlfriend's house and her father pointing the shotgun at him!!!
The father is probably saying "stay away from my little girl!!!"

Passing by the flume ride "Shoot The Rapids" which opened in 2010, we also see some high-speed rail on Millennium Force!

LEFT: OK, so we have some trackwork going on as evidenced by the track gauge. RIGHT: This is the best track gang in the history
of the CP&LE working hard to get that siding built while the Road Foreman in the foreground "supervises" by having a cigar!

Oh no, not again!!! Now how am I gonna explain this one to the Road Foreman????

5 Star entertainment in Boneville! Here we have "Mr. Possom And His Polecat Pickers"...

As we get towards the end of Boneville, we pass by the "Red Eye Hotel & Saloon" along with McCoy Dry Goods! The CP&LE's own
fire department is here to respond to that fire on the second floor of the saloon (but for some reason, they haven't put that fire out
yet and it's been going for at least what, 50 years???).

Next to McCoy's is the Boneville Jail along with the town's own newspaper, The Boneville Weekly!

As we leave Boneville and re-enter "the present day" because let's face it, Boneville was a trip to the past, we see the 1996-built
"Mantis" roller coaster which has you stand up through the entire ride.

As we round a sharp bend and cross over the roadway leading to the Frontier Trail, we soon arrive back at Funway Station.
