Built by Budd in 1955 as a full-length Dome Lounge for the Great Northern Railway's famous "Empire Builder". Conveyed to the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1970 and renumbered 1370. Conveyed to Amtrak in 1971 and numbered 9364. It was eventually used as a parts car and was sold in May 1993 as a shell with no trucks to Burlington Northern. It was stored at the former Frisco shops in Springfield, MO until being sold in 1994 to Holland America Westours. The car would operate in Alaska under the name "Deshka" when it entered service there in 1997. Transferred in late 2004 to the now defunct "Alaska Rail Tours" to be used in a non-"cruise ship" travel operation in Alaska. Sold to Iowa Pacific Holdings in October 2009 and renamed back to "Prairie View" with its original Great Northern number. Historical information about this car provided by Amtrak By The Numbers, and Web Lurker's DOMEmain.
