Built for the New York Central Railroad by Budd in 1947 and numbered 2949. To Penn Central in 1968, keeping the same number 2949. Acquired by Amtrak in 1974 and renumbered 5667. Retired by Amtrak and sold in June 1986. Later to Conrail where it operated on its Executive Fleet and numbered 27. Acquired by Norfolk Southern in 1999 when it acquired its share of Conrail. Uner NS ownership, the car was renumbered 26 and renamed "New York".
