Chiltern Railways are the last TOC in the UK to operate a first generation DMU in regular passenger service. 121020 is used on the Princes Risborough to Aylesbury shuttle service which enabled Chiltern to free up class 165 “Networker” units for busier services into London Marylebone. The unit has been substantially refurbished with new moquette, dot matrix blinds and central door locking however it also retains that traditional Leyland engine which still puts a smile on my face. 960013 in rather faded Network SouthEast livery. Even though the livery is a bit faded, I personally think it still looks rather fetching
