Preserved Jordan Spreaders

Jordan Spreader Roster

One of our biggest requests to this website is "Do you have a roster of spreaders for such and such railroad?", Well, unfortunately we do not. One of the major things we would love to have is a listing of all the spreaders ever built. But, until that surfaces we have to make due. With the help of John C. LaRue Jr. and John Taubeneck, we have come up with this list. Many, many hours have been spent researching spreaders via books, photos, railroad documents and more. So far, we have over 400 spreaders listed, by original owner only, thus forth many shortlines are not listed. So without further adieu, here is our list so far.
