Replicating the Golden Age of Railroading

Walk-through gate module

This sturdy gate has a lift up section to allow passage into the center of the module layout. Micro switches cut off power to the tracks to prevent trains from running into the gap or the raised gate. Mel Johnson designed it. George King and his friend Ray Baker built it. Fred Park made several suggestions which were used. Photos are by George King.
