918 (along with SP
5623 on the other end) powered the 2007 edition of our annual Train
of Lights during December. Here 918 splits the semaphores as the train
heads west to Niles on the first run of the evening.

for phase 1of 918's restoration) conducted a class on changing out EMD
injectors. Jon Vlasak, Rich Anderson and I attended. Here we see Jon (left)

accomplished. We had some decals made for where the (long missing) builder's
plates were located. These look pretty good, even up close! Thanks to Whitney
Haist for the assistance.
