Locomotive 1, the "G.H. Wellman", was built for the FLA&P in May 1877 by Burnham, Parry, Williams & Co. (Baldwin Locomotive Works) as number 4082. The G.H. Wellman was a 4-4-0 American type narrow gauge passenger locomotive. Essential data:
