Locomotive 1, the "G.H. Wellman", was built for the FLA&P in May 1877 by Burnham, Parry, Williams & Co. (Baldwin Locomotive Works) as number 4082. The G.H. Wellman was a 4-4-0 American type narrow gauge passenger locomotive.

Locomotive 2, the "Judge Kinyon", was built for the FLA&P in August 1877 by Burnham, Parry, Williams & Co. (Baldwin Locomotive Works) as number 4132. The Judge Kinyon was a 2-6-0 narrow gauge freight locomotive.
