FL082-22 (Waukesha - West Bend Local)

For now, the Waukesha depot is the home of FL082. There is talk that CN may move them to a new location.
Power for the day was GP40 #3014.

This is the best shot that I could get of the relocated WC Duplainville sign.

Went in the hole at Dupy to pass CN 2429 leading FDBR.

At Sussex we added 9 more cars to our 0x3 consist. We departed Sussex 0x12.

At Rugby Jct. we picked another car up, this time a load. We also passed XBRFD with CSX 7834 and DM&IR 217
dead on the siding.

Now 1x12, we arrived at Ackerville to find FDML setting out, WSOR's MH and HL swapping cars. FDML had 7500, 6656.

HL with 701 heading west out of Ackerville.

MH getting ready to head back to Milwaukee with the 702 and 752.

Before proceeding 6x1 back to Rugby, we had to wait for 3027 to fly by with a southbound passenger special.

Dropping 5 cars off at Rugby to be taken back to Waukesha on our return trip, we venture on to WSOR rail 2x0.

After a rockin' rollin' time on the WSOR we arrive at DBR Jct. Because of fair weather, we would shove caboose leading up to Jackson. If the caboose isn't used 1) cars are set on the WSOR trackage 2) loco put on the connection track 3) release brakes on cars and roll them past the switch 4) get cars and proceed north locomotive on point. Doing this means a trip up to West Bend to run around the train because the industries in Jackson all have south facing switches. Using the caboose, we can shove strait to the industies.

FRVR 10523 (ex-CGW 10523) sits on the connection track.

This is a little joke done by one of the guys who helped paint the caboose. It reads: "PTD 8-00 DBR Car Shops." The guys up in North Fondy get a kick out of this too!
