are shots of a perverted railroad. Sierra Railroad merged with the Yolo
Shortline Railroad in 2003, forming the Sierra Northern Railway.
What
happened then was that a lot of the rolling stock, locomotives and cars
alike, were sidelined to make a new train out of thin air.
We call this train the Sacramento RiverTrain.
I
myself am not a big fan of what Sierra has done, especially since they
sidelined one of my favorite locomotives, Southern Pacific 0-6-0
1233.
However, one day I took it upon myself to shoot what was left
of the railroad I once knew as a beautiful, elegant and productive
shortline, the Yolo Shortline, in the time that I was absent from the
railroading experience.
