Northbound buses board either on Plaza between Acacia Street and Coast Highway or on Coast Highway 500 feet south of the west portal of the pedestrian overpass.

 

Southbound buses board across the street from the station in front of Rhino Art on Coast Highway south of Plaza Drive.

 

Service is provided every 30 to 60 minutes throughout the day:

 

Mid-Day trips in both directions deviate from Coast Highway between Avenida Encinas and Poinsettia in Carlsbad to serve the Poinsettia Village Center and Lakeshore Gardens Mobile Home Park area.

 

Weekday Southbound Service operates between 5:57AM and 8:23PM.

Weekend Southbound Service operates between 5:57AM and 8:23PM.

 

Weekday Northbound Service operates between 6:06AM and 10:06PM.

Saturday Northbound Service operates between 6:36AM and 9:51PM.

Sunday Northbound Service operates between 7:34AM and 9:51PM.

 

Route 308:

 

Buses may be boarded at both Rios and Lomas Santa Fe and on Plaza between Acacia Street and Coast Highway.

 

Weekday service operates on variable headways throughout the day.

Saturday Service operates between 6:37AM and 7:37PM.

Sunday Service operates between 7:37AM and 6:37PM.

 

Special Event Buses:

Route 401:  Del Mar Fair (Tuesday thru Sunday) Mid-June thru the first week of July.  No service on Mondays.

Other:  Amtrak Thruway Buses depart at 10:25P daily for Bakersfield and points north of Bakersfield in the Central Valley.  Returning bus service arrives at 5:10A in the bus service pocket on the Cedros Drive side of the station.  During the annual Fiesta Del Sol, Route 308 will also board at this location instead of the traditional initial terminal for eastbound trips.

Coke Machines are located on the trackside of the station.

 

Boarding:  Trains to all southbound destinations board from track #1.

Access to track #2 is via the pedestrian bridge from the station side and either the elevator or stairs located on the west side of the station.
