Southern California Train Travel Meet-up Group:

The Train Travel Meet-Up Group meets on the fourth Monday of each calendar month at the Slide Bar Café restaurant across the parking lot from the depot. The December meeting of each calendar year is scheduled on a substantively earlier date than the usual fourth Monday of the month.  This group also has train travel outings and may have other special events in La Plata, Missouri at the Silver Rails Event Center.  When announced, at certain selected group send-off parties, as announced on the Meet Up Website events calendar, the group also uses an alternate location at Knowlwood Restaurant, located next to the Spaghetti Factory.
