Kern Regional Transit:

 

Kern County department of Public Works operates several regional transit routes which serve the Bakersfield Station and radiate to several outlying areas including Lancaster and Frazier Park in Los Angeles County.

Note: Service in the Lancaster route tends to become chronically delayed due to heavy passenger loads and late turns of equipment at Lancaster. Additionally, a major bridge replacement project on the eastern outskirts of Tehachapi which requires a detour.

On weekends, service on the Lancaster route is extremely popular and all three round-trips are often very full.

Saturdays: 9:25am and 1:25pm

Sundays: 9:25am, 11:25am, and 1:25pm.
