A SWISS RAIL ADVENTURE - 14 DAYS IN A RAILFAN'S "WET DREAM"
This is a series of pages with lots of detail on my railfanning trip to Switzerland leaving the USA on 12/18/2000 and returning 1/2/2001.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with switzerland, a map may be beneficial when trying to figure out where I'm talking about. And, if you are LUCKY enough to have a Swiss rail timetable, I list the route numbers travelled each day so you can trace them out.
Also, the first installment is longer than the others as I included a large amount of reference material with the opening saga.

Each day notes whether there are photographs included. Most photos are from the European Railway Picture Gallery or John Whitby's Swiss Rail Site.
Note that photos are links to files on european servers, and that due to time difference there may be sluggish performance retrieving pictures when you would think traffic would be light.
Also, if you don't care to browse all the days, day ten has some very scenic shots, and you might find days 8 and 6 interesting too.
