Texas & Pacific

As a subsidiary of Missouri Pacific, T&P was the owner of a dome purchased in 1952 from Pullman Standard . The car was used in conjuction with domes from parent MP and MP subsidiary International Great Northern on the "Texas Eagle".

T&P 200 / MP 897 (pool car) - MP 597(1965), ICRR 2212 (6/67) - retired 2/71, 9/71 to Joseph Brown Tulsa OK for use in his "Iron Horse Restaurant" - failing that it became "Dave's Pizza parlor" (same location). Donated during the early 1980's to "Dodge City Railroad Preservation Inc." The car was parked at the Dodge City KS yards of the "Dodge City Ford & Bucklin Railway". Car sold during summer 1999 and spotted at the former ATSF freight house that is now the "Steakhouse Depot & Restaurant. Plans call for the car to be rebuilt as an outside cocktail club named "Starlight". Usage never came about and car sold 4/04 to Jon Clark - will be moved near Hornell NY for restoration as a coach/lounge. Car photographed 4/05 still in Dodge City, but observed 5/05 in New York.
