Decided to go ahead and give the cab and boiler a shot of flat black paint. still need to touch up the Pilot and cylionders
Also decided that I didn't like the way the original tender looked. remeoved the stock trucks and replaced them with trucks from a Bachmann Caboose. Also built a totally different shell for the tender. Saved the other one for a future project.
