OK, So I'm finally back at it after
a what, 4 month hiatus? I hate how the real world just loves
to interefere with the important stuff. I've finally divested myself
of some of the crap that kept interefereing, and now that important stuff
with the JRVP is overwith for the Winter, I can get back to work in The
Shops. Due to the current domestic situation, the O scale layout
is sorta on hold til further notice; there's a 4 and 6 year old living
in there, and everyone seems to think that the layout is a shelf to put
stuff on. I tried to maintain for a while, then finally gave up.
I had hoped to do scenery this winter, but if they find a house and I get
the wiring redone I'll consider it a miracle.
Natcherly weather was rather nice in
the first part of this week when I had other stuff I had to do, and its
gonna be sorta wet and cold over the weekend. I need
to do some general yard cleanup, and pickup where I left off on building
the yard modules. I did have most of the locomotives out for a wander
a month or so back and did some maintenance, and a rebuild of the front
truck on No 9. I've also got a tankcar still on the bench from this
spring. So the plan is work on the physical plant weather permitting,
and the tankcar if the weather is not.

Looking like a 50 50 chance of doing
outdoor work this weekend so far. Forecast is for Mid 50's
so I guess I'll have to wait and see if thats a warm sunny Mid 50s, or
a wet damp cold mid 50s. s
