Been doing some figurung on the framework for rebuilding
Anns Creek on bench work. To raise it up to a 24 inch height on three
6' x 3' sections will be about $50 for the framing. I can buy the
2x8 for the roadbed as needed. It will take me awhile to salvage
the old rail and lay it in place anyways. Anns Creek will become
a switching destination as opposed to a terminal yard, featuring a gunpowder
plant. The plant will receive wooden boxcars of raw material and
ship gunpowder in steel ones. The remote location would make it feasible
both for saftey and wartime security. The Anns Creek switcher could
be a fireless loco.
